Rank Structure

Private
A private is the starting point for a joining member in a IGE Company. The goal for a private is to earn her/his way into a squad by being invited by the squad leaders. Once a Private is invited to join a squad and accepts she/he will be eligible to be promoted to a sergeant if the member shows determination to learn and uphold the Rank Structure and Honor Code. A Private that chooses not to join a squad is viewed as a gamer.
Sergeant
A sergeant is the first true leadership rank within a squad. The goal of a sergeant is to help in the the success of a squad. A Sergeant is to work with his/her squad and clan mates to insure a fun gaming environment for all members. A Sergeant must get to know and understand the Rank Structure and honor code. Once a member reaches the rank of sergeant she/he is allowed an IGE Gamertag (optional).
Lieutenant
A lieutenant is the backbone of a squad within an IGE clan. A lieutenant must work closely with her/his squad and clan mates to help maintain a successful squad. A lieutenant’s main goal is to take the stress off the captains and gain experience through working with the Captain and Major.
Captain
A Captains goals and main responsibilities are to run a successful squad within a clan. The optimal configuration of a squad is 1 Captain, 2 Lieutenants, 4 Sergeants, and 7 Privates. A Captain must know the Rank Structure and uphold the honor code to the best of her/his ability.
Major
A Majors Responsibilities are to assist her/his general in the process of maintaining the clan and overseeing the squads to insure they are being run up to par. A major’s main goal is to be there when the general is absent, help run meetings, and participate in clan affairs. A Major must know the Rank Structure and uphold the honor code to the best of her/his ability.
General
A General is the leader of a Clan within a company. A clan is made up of 2 or more squads who actively communicate with each other. A General’s responsibilities and goals are to run and maintain a successful clan by working closely with his squad leaders and Company Commander. A General must know the Rank Structure and uphold the honor code to the best of her/his ability.
Company Commander (iX)
A Company Commander runs Companies within IGE. A Company is a group of two to six clans that are bound together by a Company Commander. The Company Commanders goals are to work with her/his generals and Regiment Commanders to insure clans are run smoothly and up to par.
Liaison Leader (iL)
A Liaison is an appointed position for the well-being of clan affairs on the website.
Regiment Commander (iR)
A Regiment Commander looks and oversees the companies within IGE. A Regiment Commander must keep open communication with the Company Commanders and the council to insure sound decisions and equality. Regiment Commanders are openly involved with the decisions of the council.
Council (iC)
The council is made up of the proven leaders and founders who help insure that IGE is a safe haven for gamers of any age or gaming back round
